Sikkuy's co-executive directors, Ali Haider and Shuli Dichter, spoke to five French senators on May 17th at the invitation of Mr. Gilles Pecassou, the first secretary of the French Embassy in Israel. The senators, on a fact-finding mission to Israel, were particularly interested in Sikkuy's development of an "Equality Index" which will be an effective tool for monitoring the government's actions to advance equality between Jewish and Arab citizens. They proposed cooperation and information sharing with the French "Equality Authority" and invited Sikkuy to meet with other French officials in Paris.
